"lET'S GET ORGANIZE"

An Essay

By: Allyson Jane Cruz

Life is awesome. Will life still be awesome if disorganization takes place?

Have you ever experience lacking with time? Finding a misplaced object in your whole place? Being super late in a meeting? Forgetting something very important? Well, let me say that I know the root of your problem it is – disorganization.

Many of us suffer from disorganization. Especially with students like us, we tend to rush on the deadlines or the worst scenario, we forgot that we have something to pass or something to do.

It also happened with adults. Take our teachers as an example, some teachers passed late grades because of incomplete and messy class records. The employees as well, they are caught in heavy traffic because of bad time management.

Disorganization causes stress on us and the people around us. So as a key to the big problem, I offer you five ways to start a new and organized life:

1. Calendar your activities. We have limited time so make sure that your time is well utilized. Make a planner or write in your calendar the stuff that you suppose to do or the deadlines to meet.

2. Put things to their rightful place. A simple act of putting the things in their proper place could save plenty of your time. If you are not good at memorizing the place of things at least have boxes with a label as your storage. Every paper, folder, ball pen, etc. must be at their right destination.

3. Avoid distractions. Keep in mind the more important things and the least important things. Focus on your goals and don’t allow destruction. After you’ve finished your work then use your spare time in doing the things you want, like checking your social media accounts.

4. Have your handy companion. A simple notebook can be your friend. Unload your thoughts and feelings to your notebook to conserve some mental energies. Let your new companion help you with those things to be kept in mind.

5. Simplify. Simplify your jobs. Find the simplest ways to accomplish your things easier. Make life easier. Live simply.
