"Dance of change"

A Feature Article

By: Allyson Jane Cruz

“Rain, rain, go away. Come again another day.” Nobody wants to rain. Nobody appreciates the rain. Nobody sees the importance of the rain. Simply, they don’t know what is behind that darkness.

Heavy rain and strong winds, that’s the challenge that rain brought. It destroys, wrecks, and kills. The tragedy brought can change your life in an instant.

As the rain falls, I just walk slowly and feel every drop. I close my eyes and memories flashed. The rain, the death, and the destruction. All of these happened in just a day. I can’t do anything. I sat down in a corner and cry. I’m helpless. I’m shattered. I’m broken.

As the rain keeps ongoing. I noticed that people are dancing and smiling. They danced at the disaster. They smile at the tragedy. They show the happiness and joy they attain. Storm and rains can never remove the hope that they have. They keep on holding on that there is a better tomorrow waiting for them.

Life is short; time is fast, no replay, no rewind. So enjoy every moment comes. Enjoy every happiness and sorrow that you are feeling. Don’t be afraid to dance and feel the rain. Just keep believing that the rain will stop and sunrise will appear. Even in the darkest clouds, you will spot the sunlight that is waiting for you.

The thing that devastates me is the same thing that builds me. That’s the rain. The sunshine of my life.
