“Some infinities are bigger than other infinities” The Fault in our stars
A month from now I am graduating from junior high. The four years of hard work and hardships will now pay off. This is the moment that I’ve been praying, the moment that everyone is waiting, our moving up ceremony.
Days are now counted, the event is near but there’s a little sadness I am feeling inside my heart. The thought of leaving my friends, the school, and the experiences is such a bitter-sweet memory for me. The school that hugged me for almost 4 years, my friends that I will forever be thankful for having them and the experiences that mold me to who I am will be left with my high school days. A part of me doesn’t want it to happen but a part of me wants to take the next journey that is waiting for me.
My high school life gave me different flavors: sweetness, bitterness, sourness, and spice which tells that every inch of sadness, happiness, and failure will act like a balm that will reveal the beauty of life in high school.
I hope that I could stay forever in high school. This is where my teenage life starts. My first’s start with it; the first heartbreak, the first cutting class, the first crush, and many first times in life. I just want to say that high school is the best part of life.
High school, you’re my little infinity. The little paradise that I will forever keep in my heart.
